Once you let us know the domain name to transfer and pay the transfer fee, we will initiate the transfer process, which will send an email to the current admin contact as listed in the WHOIS. Some registrars just notify you about the transfer and do not need your approval. It may take about a week for the actual transfer to take place. When you transfer a domain, it is automatically renewed by 1 year. Note that, you will not be able to transfer a domain up to 60 days from the date of registration. Similarly, if you transfer the domain within 45 days after renewing it, your current renewal is cancelled and you will get only 1 year of renewal that you normally get from the us.
